Welcome back to a new term at Mitchell Walk Playgroup, We hope you all had a good half term break. At the beginning of this term we saw some new children starting at the Playgroup. We are pleased that they are all settling in well. However Sadly this is the last term for some of our children as they are moving on to pastures new in other schools etc. We would like to wish all of those leaving us all the best and hope they enjoy their new schools.
Mitchell Walk Playgroup T-shirts
Here at Mitchell Walk we have for sale T-shirts for your little ones with our logo on, The Children love them and it does save the mess on their everyday clothes as we all love doing messy activities. If you are interested in purchasing one please ask a member of staff of alternatively e-mail Michelle on the above e-mail.
Becoming a committee member
If anyone is interested in becoming a member of the committee that would be great as we always need help and new people bring new ideas, Also if you feel their is anything we can do to make things better or improve in anyway please say as we are always looking for ways to improve things for all concerned.
Fund-raising event
We are hoping to have a stall at the Chalfont Village Day to help promote the Playgroup and raise funds. However to do this we are going to need more support from all the parents. As you are now aware we have to do fund-raising events through out the year to be able to run the playgroup as we are not government funded. We have only managed to stay open because of the support of past and current parents, making efforts to help us with our fund-raising events.
Pleasecould you bring in some donations for the stalls as we really need more help.
Past event
We had two stalls at the Henry Allen Fair and raised £79.50 from the Pot of Gold and the Lucky Dip stalls. Thank you to those of you who helped on the day and to those who sent in donations for the stalls.
